COINS : HEAVEN + EARTH is the first chapter of an ongoing collaboration between designer Laura Lombardi and artist Andrea Smith.

A tangible expression of their shared visual language, pendants depicting signature motifs painted by Andrea were hand carved in New York City, then cast in both brass and sterling silver and strung on sterling chains. Exploring themes present in both of their work, the pieces in HEAVEN + EARTH are symbols of forgotten histories as well as future heirlooms.

Limited—edition silks made in collaboration with Out of Seam, the inter-disciplinary dye studio of New York based artist, Tajah Ellis. 100% silk charmeuse dyed with naturally sourced and extracted woods — mahogany, logwood, sappanwood, and marigold — then painted with natural pigment + homemade soymilk bath.
